Premiere: December 16, 1935, Metropolitan Opera, New York. Danced by American Ballet Ensemble. Conductor: Ettore Panizza.

Cast: Anatole Vilzak, Gisella Caccialanza, Ruthanna Boris, Constantine Iolas, Joseph Levinoff, corps de ballet.

Note: Balanchine's first choreography for the Metropolitan Opera during the three-year residence of the American Ballet as American Ballet Ensemble.
