Music: By Frédéric Chopin, orchestrated by Vittorio Rieti.

Choreography: By George Balanchine.

Production: Costumes by Georges Annenkoff.

Premiere: June 29, 1932, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Paris. Conductor: Roger Désormière. (Earlier in the summer performed in Brussels, for which no program has been found.)

Cast: Alice Nikitina.

Note: Pygmalion, through the force of his love, having brought the statue of Galatea to life, is himself turned to stone. Despite this program note, Nikitina's is the only name that appears in the cast.
