Music: By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (from the Quintet in G minor, K. 516 [movements 1, 3, 4?]).

Choreography: By George Balanchine.

Premiere: January 22, 1946, Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York. Danced by students of the School of American Ballet.

Cast: The Dancer, Tanaquil Le Clercq; 4 Friends (girls); Children; The Teacher, Elise Reiman; The Angel, Dorothy Bird; Threat of Polio, George Balanchine.

Note: Performed once at a March of Dimes benefit fashion show and luncheon, in which Vera Zorina and Gertrude Lawrence also participated.
