Music: By Domenico Cimarosa, reorchestrated by Ottorino Respighi.

Choreography: By Léonide Massine, a suite of dances from his Le Astuzi Femminili (1920), augmented by a pas de quatre by Bronislava Nijinska (1924) and a pas de trois by George Balanchine (1925; uncredited), and perhaps other numbers.

Production: Scenery and costumes by José-Maria Sert.

Premiere: 1925, Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, Monte Carlo. Premiered in original form January 8, 1924, Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, Opéra de Monte-Carlo. Conductor: E. Flamant.
