Note
In SUNDAY, a small aggressive female gives chase to a large male; RESCUE includes artificial respiration and a love duet; seven mosquitoes dance on pointe in WAR WITH MOSQUITOES; and the HOT DOGS finale could be likened to a ballabile, with its scenes of male rivalry over a hot dog and a girl. Balanchine’s first collaboration with Robbins; both worked on all sections.
