No information about the premiere has been located. The ballet was danced at the final concert of the Young Ballet, Pavlovsk, June 15, 1924, by Tamara Geva, Nicholas Efimov, and Balanchine. It was also performed on the German tour of the Principal Dancers of the Russian State Ballet in the summer of 1924, and may have been one of the audition pieces for Diaghilev in Paris in the autumn of 1924.
