Note
The music uses serial combinations and is divided into five concise parts. Stravinsky described the ballet as a double concerto for male and female solo dancers, both identified with the piano solo, accompanied by a corps de ballet. Occasionally since 1965, and almost consistently since 1966, performed with Monumentum pro Gesualdo [334].
